FAQ

Why do you offer therapy as a 12-session journey?

I offer therapy as a 12-session journey, intentionally designed with both a beginning and an end.

Having a clear framework creates focus, builds trust, and allows us to work towards meaningful goals together. Just as importantly, it creates space afterwards—time to pause, reflect, and allow the changes you've made to become part of your everyday life.

Meaningful growth doesn't only happen during therapy. Often, it continues in the weeks and months that follow, as new ways of thinking, feeling, and relating naturally begin to take root.

At the end of the journey, we'll reflect on your progress together and decide whether this feels like the right place to conclude or whether additional support would be helpful.

What makes your approach different?

Therapy is about more than conversation alone.

Alongside relational psychotherapy, I integrate body-based approaches that recognise the connection between mind and body. Depending on your needs, your therapeutic journey may include:

  • Walk & Talk Therapy in nature
  • Relational psychotherapy
  • Somatic awareness
  • Breathwork
  • Yoga-informed movement

Every therapeutic journey is carefully designed around you. Rather than following a fixed method, we work together to create an approach that supports your unique experiences, goals, and pace.

Why do you focus on in-person therapy?

I believe healing happens through genuine human connection.

Meeting in person allows us to build a therapeutic relationship that includes not only conversation, but also presence, body language, movement, and the subtle human interactions that are difficult to recreate online.

Working face-to-face also allows us to integrate Walk & Talk sessions, somatic practices, breathwork, and yoga when these approaches best support your journey.

How do I know if therapy is right for me?

You don't need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Many people seek support during times of transition, relationship challenges, stress, anxiety, grief, or simply because they want to understand themselves more deeply.

If you're wondering whether therapy could help, an initial conversation is a good place to begin.

What happens during the first session?

Our first session is an opportunity to get to know one another.

We'll talk about what has brought you to therapy, what you hope to gain from the process, and whether my approach feels like the right fit for you. It's also your opportunity to ask questions and decide if you'd like to continue.

Do I need to prepare before my first session?

No preparation is necessary.

Simply come as you are. You don't need to have everything figured out or know exactly where to begin—we'll find a starting point together.

Can I choose between Walk & Talk and indoor sessions?

Yes.

Some people feel most comfortable talking in a peaceful indoor setting, while others find that walking in nature creates a sense of ease and openness.

Together, we'll decide what feels most supportive for you, and this may evolve throughout your therapeutic journey.

Do I have to do yoga, movement or breathwork?

Not at all.

These approaches are simply additional therapeutic tools that may be introduced when they support your goals and feel appropriate for you. Traditional talk therapy always remains at the heart of our work together.

Can I continue after the 12 sessions?

Absolutely.

For many people, twelve sessions provide a strong foundation for meaningful change. Others choose to continue for another cycle or arrange occasional follow-up sessions.

The purpose of the 12-session journey is not to limit therapy, but to create a natural opportunity to pause, reflect, and decide together what feels most supportive for your next step.

What languages do you offer therapy in?

Therapy is available in English and Slovenian.

How much does therapy cost?

I believe therapy should be professional, accessible, and sustainable.

My aim is to offer high-quality psychotherapy at a fee that makes ongoing support more attainable. Please get in touch for current fees and payment options.

Is everything we discuss confidential?

Yes.

Confidentiality is one of the foundations of psychotherapy and helps create a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship. Everything you share remains confidential, except in the rare situations where disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect your safety or the safety of others. These exceptions will be explained during our first meeting.

Do you offer retreats or workshops?

Retreats and small-group experiences are currently in development.

In the future, these offerings will combine psychotherapy, movement, breathwork, yoga, and nature to create opportunities for deeper reflection, personal growth, and connection.

If you're interested, I'd be happy to let you know when they're available.

Still have a question?

If you haven't found the answer you're looking for, I'd love to hear from you. Please get in touch, and together we can explore whether this feels like the right place for your therapeutic journey.

You are always welcome.
